Online & Email Marketing
Offering free things to your website visitors is one marketing method that often results in a lot of sales. Free courses that are delivered via email are very popular, and people sign up for such courses on a regular basis to learn more about a topic of interest to them. These courses are best maintained and delivered with the use of auto-responders.
Auto-responders are one of the most important marketing tools that you can have if you are doing business online. In fact, the only thing more important than the auto-responder is your opt-in list! But all auto-responders start out without a list – the list doesn't exist until your auto-responder mailing list starts filling up with names and email addresses!
For the last few months I've been working with Jim Rosetti and Ron Nielsen on their website and Facebook page for the Biz Connection Radio Show. Jim is a talk radio pro as well as a talented musician. While living in the Fox Valley, he did a radio show similar to the Biz Connection to promote area business people and entrepreneurs. Now living in the Plymouth area, he wanted to share his talents with our local business community.

Building a Quality List
Visitors to your website are good. But the real money is in your mailing list. Build a large list of qualified buyers, and you'll see a much higher return on your investment than you will from any other marketing effort. The question is, how do you build a qualified list?
In mid-August I attended the Niche Affiliate Marketing System (NAMS) conference in Atlanta, Georgia. NAMS was founded and is directed by David Perdew. David holds these events twice a year, in February and August and this was his 6th NAMS conference. I wish I had known about NAMS 1 or 2 a few years ago! It was a great week. I learned a lot and met fantastic, like-minded people.
